I have always been intrigued by this unique tourist attaction. Though it might pale in comparison to the famous Chatuchak aka Jatujak Weekend Market (Thailand) or Petaling Street (Malaysia), the Thieves' Market happens to be the island's largest and oldest flea market around and its rich historical background dated all the way back to the 1930s. One man's meat is another man's poison. May I present to you, my Sungei Road stall, the ONLINE version.
